Murray, Kentucky, (population 14,950) was first settled approximately in 1818. It was at one time part of land encompassing Marshall County but now is the county seat of Calloway County. The soil in the Murray area was particularly fertile and led to the growth of the tobacco industry.

Since our founding in 1930, our Denver hospital has transformed health care in our community, providing whole-person healing and specialized care. From breast care and oncology to behavioral health services, including psychiatric inpatient care, our medical teams are ready to support you.

AdventHealth Murray is a 42-bed acute care facility. The first hospital in Murray County opened in 1949 as Murray County Memorial Hospital. The hospital moved to our present location of 707 Old Dalton Ellijay Road in 1976.

Maternity services

On the Maternity Ward the Partner/Birthing Partner is permitted throughout the day with the exception of rest time. Your support partner can: Be present during labour and birth. Attend antenatal, booking, anatomy scan and recall clinic visits.
