NO. This is hardcoded, and the system will not allow you to proceed. You can pay the taxes on the Activation Fee with the Walmart Gift Card, but this is discouraged as you may be subject to more scrutiny by the cashier or self-checkout attendant.

2. Can I buy more Vanilla Prepaid Cards with pre-existing Vanilla Prepaid Cards?

YES, but also YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY. Some stores will refuse the sale, you can try Self-Checkout, however, do not attempt to purchase more than 2 cards at any given transactions if paying with $100 prepaids.

3. Can I buy the Vanilla Prepaid Card at another location and claim this bonus?

NO. The system knows exactly where you bought it, and will deny the bonus accordingly.

4. Can I buy the Vanilla Prepaid Card outside of the promotional period and still get the bonus?

NO. Again, the system knows when the card was activated and will deny the bonus accordingly. Promotion starts at 00:00:01 PST and ends at 23:59:59 EST on Nov 28. Activate your card before this time to avoid contacting Incomm for a manual adjustment.

5. Can I use the Vanilla Prepaid Card to buy other gift cards (such as Sobeys, Uber, etc.)?

YES. Pay inside to avoid unnecessary holds, which can freeze your remaining card funds for a week or more.

9. How many Walmart Bonus Gift Cards can I use at a time?

4 Cards online. No limit in person self checkout. Theoretically no limit in person with a manned cashier, HOWEVER, using excessive numbers of gift cards can cause a call to loss prevention. In addition, there is a KNOWN problem with using multiple gift cards with a manned cashier where they will need to scroll down at the very right edge of the screen after scanning your gift card and keying in the amount to be paid (issue experienced when using >10 GCs)

You can combine cards by "purchase and refund" combo in-store, but your velocity may be limited, and you may raise eyebrows from management or loss prevention.

You are not able to combine cards online. Orders placed with gift cards online are not immediately cancellable.

10. When I use this card online, what billing details do I use?

You can simply use your personal billing details, just as you would for your credit card.

11. I can't seem to set a postal code, why is that?

For cards issued with a starting card number of 520356 or 485097, the functionality has been disabled. You can still use the card online, however you may experience difficulty using the card at select merchants that verify your postal code.

12. How many Vanilla Prepaid Cards can I use at a time on a purchase?

If your cards have an expiry of 04/2027 or before that have a full barcode on the back, there is no limit to the number of cards used.

In the first 30 calendar days after your card is activated: you can swipe up to 3 cards from each card network for their full balance (3 Visa AND 3 MC).

Starting from day 31+ since activation, you can swipe up to 9-13 cards from each card network for their full balance.

How do I get the card to work?

You cannot use the card anymore, in-store or online. You must call Vanilla Prepaid +1 (833) 502-6535. This will not be an issue with cards starting with 533621 or 426370.

14. I'm getting an error when checking the balance of my Vanilla Prepaid Card, why?

You can only check a few cards ~5 every few hours. Don't repetitively try as it will get you blocked from the site for an extended period of time. You can clear your cookies to reset the site, however this does not always work.

15. Is there any maintenance fee for these Vanilla Prepaid Cards?

NO. The only fee that may be applicable is a Foreign Transaction Fee.

16. Can I use these Vanilla Prepaid Cards outside of Canada?
